Mr. Callegari has more than 16 years of experience in the environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) management and consulting field.  He has conducted EH&S consulting projects regulated by the USEPA, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and other state and local agencies throughout the Southeast.  Mr. Callegari began his environmental career in a part time position at IT Corporation. After two years, Mr. Callegari relocated to Jacksonville, FL to pursue a career with GWL, Inc.  GWL was subsequently acquired by EMCON, after which it merged with IT Corporation.  After an 11 year tenure, Mr. Callegari accepted the position of General Manager with Handex of Florida.  Throughout the course of his career, Mr. Callegari has held many diversified positions, including field/staff/project geologist, project manager, operations manager, sales manager, client manager, and branch/general manager.  In the technical aspects of these positions, Mr. Callegari has completed assignments including the collection and interpretation of hydrogeologic data relating to contamination assessments, remedial action design, Phase I and II investigations, RCRA/OSHA compliance audits, RCRA compliance management, asbestos and mold management, wastewater permitting, pollution prevention planning, water resource development, EPCRA Tier I & II, DOT compliance assessments, OSHA compliance management, lead paint management, and various worker training projects.  His technical experience is multifaceted and his strength is the ability to utilize this expertise to create a management strategy/program best suited to meet client needs.  His extensive knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations has proved an invaluable resource to his clients.  While performing the role of Client Manager, Project Manager, Branch Manager, and Sales Manager, a large portion of time was dedicated to the acquisition of new business contracts.  Formal sales training was received from multiple companies (EMCOM, IT Corp., and Handex) in various arenas.  Marketing/sales development included the maintenance and growth of the existing client base, as well as the acquisition of new clientele.  Mr. Callegari’s role included all aspects of business development.  He routinely scoped, bid, and priced work for numerous corporations.
